What is a CIMA?
A Chartered Institute of Management Accountant or “CIMA” qualified accountant is the U.K. equivalent of a Master’s level of Accounting. CIMA is proactive to tie up with American CPA designation because of the current convergence trend between US-GAAP and IFRS.

What is a J.D.?
The Juris Doctor (J.D.) is a professional doctorate and first professional graduate degree in law. The degree is earned by completing law school in the United States or other common law countries. Those who hold the degree of Juris Doctor are professionals committed to the practice of law, and they are primarily concerned with ensuring that laws are upheld and followed in a variety of circumstances.

What is an EA?
An Enrolled Agent is a federally-authorized tax practitioner with technical expertise in the field of U.S. taxation who is empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers at all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for audits, collections, and appeals.

What is CPA?
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is the statutory title of a qualified accountant in the United States who has passed the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination and has met additional state education and experience requirements for certification as a CPA.
